The 75,000 square metres façade features a curtain wall that is double glazed to allow for a high solar protection on neutral-looking glass.

Fruit and Wool Exchange

The new-build façades are predominately brick-faced, with punched windows to reflect the surrounding context.

Caudwell International

Professional photography of University of Delaware FinTech Building in Newark, DE.

The FinTech Building is a highly anticipated addition to the University of Delaware’s STAR Campus. Designed as a six-story research and development hub, it serves the financial IT sector by converging academic excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, financial institutions, software developers and government entities in a single building. The building’s creative curtainwall façade helps meet the functional needs of office spaces, while the neutral blue aesthetic of the glass nods to the school mascot, the Blue Hens. After receiving samples of SunGuard™ SNX 51/23 coating on clear and UltraClear™ glass, the project team switched the specification from a blue-tinted competitor product. The strong solar heat gain coefficient of the glass helps bring high performance to the vast quantities of glass used on the project.
