What modern glass can do
How and where glass is used
How glass is made and what it offers
The 75,000 square metres façade features a curtain wall that is double glazed to allow for a high solar protection on neutral-looking glass.
The new-build façades are predominately brick-faced, with punched windows to reflect the surrounding context.
Curved glass, punch windows and precast stone panels make up the envelope on a figure-of-eight footprint.

For anyone who is interested in learning more about glass and its use
Guardian ExtraClear® glass contains less iron than standard float glass. This greatly enhances the color neutrality and also natural light transmission – to offer clearer, cleaner, more natural views wherever it’s positioned.
Standard glass has an inherent green tint due to the presence of iron oxide. In contrast, the reduced iron content of Guardian ExtraClear glass is able to deliver outstanding color neutrality – both in terms of light transmission and the reflective appearance.
Guardian ExtraClear® is used as a base glass for many other Guardian products, which means it has a very wide range of applications. These include high performance facades, partitions, solar control glass, store fronts, safety glass and printed glass.
Guardian ExtraClear® glass can be processed, heat treated, laminated, cut, painted, silk-screened and is also bendable like any conventional float glass. Making it highly adaptable.
