Description of the project

The Middle East Airlines (MEA) Training Center in Lebanon includes facilities that comprise of four Airbus aircraft simulation systems, lecture hall, training rooms, workshops, classrooms, library, lounges, dining hall and conference room, as well as the iconic dome auditorium.

The building is designed to make the most of the advantages of glass. Guardian SunGuard Double Silver (DS) 50T was selected for the glass facades. The glass helps to let in a lot of natural light, while also providing protection from heat and cold. This helps to cut down on the need for artificial lighting and to create comfortable interior spaces. It also has low reflections inside and outside, for clear views and an attractive exterior neutral look to soothe and motivate.
