The 75,000 square metres façade features a curtain wall that is double glazed to allow for a high solar protection on neutral-looking glass.
The new-build façades are predominately brick-faced, with punched windows to reflect the surrounding context.
Curved glass, punch windows and precast stone panels make up the envelope on a figure-of-eight footprint.

Four different types of Guardian SunGuard® coated glass help to create a stunning, energy- efficient glass façade for the recently opened La Seine Musicale music and cultural centre located in the Boulogne-Billancourt suburb of Paris.
Designed by Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines Architects, the building is the latest feature in the site’s Island Master Plan. The lower part of the music hall’s globed, shell-like, hexagonal structure is glazed with SunGuard® SNX 50/23 solar protective glass, which lets in plenty of natural daylight combined with excellent solar protection.
Four different types of Guardian SunGuard® glass help creating a remarkable energy efficient façade. The lower part of the ship like building is glazed with SunGuard® SNX 50/23 glass while the sphere on its top shows a nice combination of SunGuard® SN 70/41, SN 51/28 and SN 40/23.
