Accountability at every level
Each one of our production facilities is committed to the quality of our float, coated and fabricated glass – not only by meeting or exceeding industry standards, but also by using our own proprietary techniques. This requires high levels of expertise, process design and accountability throughout the company, and we’ve also developed a world-class quality management system to carefully monitor how each stage of the process is managed, performed and verified. This is how we endeavor to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations and at times even exceed them.
Beyond the production line
Quality control is about more than the production line. It also involves designing products that will perform throughout their life cycle. Central to this is careful analysis and development of our coatings and float glass formulas – to help ensure they fulfil what our customers and the wider world need. We also test and improve quality control methods continually, and implement them on a global scale; including the development of our own packaging techniques to help prevent damage in transit.
