Upper Merion Area HS

Upper Merion Area School District’s new flagship facility was designed to foster 21st-century learning and career readiness for students, offering flexible spaces for research, development and presentation. The 345,000-square-foot building utilizes SunGuardSN 68 and SN 54 coatings on CrystalGray tinted glass to enhance solar performance. The attractive light gray color with a subtle blue undertone of the coatings harmonizes with the building’s brick and metal panels. The building’s main glass entryway features a combination of vertical and horizontal elements that bring transparency and visual connectivity to the facility’s dynamic interior spaces. This project highlights the balance between aesthetics, efficiency and student-focused design, providing an innovative environment for academic and extracurricular growth.
