Descripcion of the project

Designed by Tetra Architects Inc., the Burberry Asia flagship retail store in Cheongdam-Dong, Seoul, is a 12-storey, 4,000 square-meter building with a strikingly attractive glazed façade that resembles the brand’s famous gabardine, plaid textile trench coats.

Guardian ClimaGuard® Premium A thermal insulating glass was chosen for the double-glazed façade due to its high light transmission, allowing a high amount of natural daylight into the building and helping to reduce the need for artificial lighting. The glazing enables high levels of transparency without disruptive reflections, while also offering high solar heat gain, making it suitable for low energy constructions.
