Enhanced solar performance

The SMG® (Solar Management Glass) product family offers higher performance than standard green glass to help reduce solar loads inside of vehicles. These products balance maximum solar heat absorbing capabilities while exceeding 70% visible light transmission. These solutions are available in variety of shades. SMG II is primarily used in windshield applications and other uses that require the highest visible light transmission available, while SMG III and SMG IV are largely used as body glass for non-windshield applications, including backlites, sidelites and more.
