Description of the project
Iguatemi Business is a landmark 14-storey commercial office building in Porto Alegre. The strikingly attractive laminated glass panels of the façade were created using Guardian SunGuard™ High Performance (HP) AG43, a coated solar control glass with a dynamic silver appearance that helps connect the interior with the exterior, and to offer thermal comfort to its occupants. SunGuard™ HP AG43 provides a combination of aesthetic and performance qualities.
The glass allows natural daylight into the building but helps to reduce solar energy gain and glare from direct sunlight, helping to keep the building cool and reducing demands on air conditioning. The appearance of the glass is one of uniform reflection and color.
