From subtle hints to bold statements

Guardian tinted glass is produced by adding small amounts of metal oxides to the float glass as it’s made. The strength of the tint affects the overall performance of the glass, including visible light, privacy and solar heat transmission. Tinted glass is also usually tempered, to prevent breakage from high solar heat absorption.

A tint here a tint there

As an innovative world leader in tinted float glass, Guardian is dedicated to continually advancing the science and process of its manufacture.
