The Eurobusiness commercial building in Curitiba achieved the world’s first LEED Zero Water certification, which recognizes self-sufficient developments in the water category. Eurobusiness also received LEED Platinum certification for its energy and natural resource savings through the use of new technologies.
The building’s facade features Guardian SunGuard™ High Performance (HP) Royal Blue 40, which helped to achieve the goals for LEED certification. The glass was chosen due to its deep sky-blue reflection and high color rendering. HP Royal Blue 40 also reduces solar energy gain, while allowing visible light transmission through the glass, helping to reduce the need for artificial lighting and to meet local energy codes. It also offers excellent reflectivity, along with optical clarity, uniformity, and selectivity.
