Glass that performs and protects
As part of Guardian’s approach to bird-friendly glass, Guardian Bird1st™ Lami allows architects and designers greater flexibility in meeting a project’s performance while helping to prevent birds from colliding with glazed facades. Guardian Bird1st Lami is made with Saflex™ Flysafe™ 3D PVB interlayer with embedded matte silver sequins that catch and reflect light to help deter birds, and give architects the freedom to create facades that stand out.
View from the outside
The grid pattern consists of rows and columns of discreet 3D sequins that are 9 mm (0.35 in.) in diameter, separated on all sides by 90 mm (3.5 in.)
View from the inside
Sequins are discreet and optimally placed to help limit visual disturbance for the building occupants.
