The Ivey on Boren

Description of the project

The Ivey on Boren reaches for the sky with a mix of patterns and materials, creating movement appropriate for a beacon of the arts. With the site adjacent to Cornish College of the Art’s Raisbeck Performance Hall, the project team set out to complement the historic landmark.

Floor-to-ceiling windows featuring the blue-hued SunGuard ® SNR 43 and light silver SunGuard ® AG 50 coatings on clear glass showcase the work of established and emerging artists. The combination of the two glass types on the façade not only create a unique contrast and a stimulating design, but also helped the project secure LEED ® Silver certification with their solar performance properties.
