Guardian SunGuard™ eXtraSelective SNX 62/27 coated glass paired with a frit pattern combine to offer a high light-to-solar gain ratio as well as protection for birds at the Penn Medicine Radnor building, a healthcare facility in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

The glass, used in the lobby, pedestrian passages, corridors and lounges, helps  occupants connect with the lush landscape, admitting abundant natural light while helping the facility manage energy use .  The addition of the frit pattern helps reduce bird collisions.

The project’s attention to the environment and other factors helped it earn LEED® Gold certification and an AIA 2021 Healthcare Design Award.
